JavaFX Softphone for Google Talk

March 20, 2009

We’ve just released a free beta version of the VoiceClearly Softphone, a JavaFX VoIP phone for Google Talk that supports both Voice and Chat. You can run the application as an applet inside your browser or use the nifty JavaFX drag and drop feature in Windows to pull the app to your desktop directly from the web browser.  Since it’s written using JavaFX, the application runs on multiple platforms (we’ve verified on Windows and on Mac).

This is a beta release and development is still a work in progress. Please note that the application requires the latest Java version and please see other system requirements at the JavaFX site.

You can find out more information from our site, www.voiceclearly.com, or give it a try now by downloading using Web Start below.
